Maya Chen
Physiotherapist working with people rebuilding strength and confidence after an injury.

About Maya
Maya has worked in physiotherapy for over a decade, much of it with people returning to activity after an injury or surgery. Her first appointment is usually longer than people expect, because she wants to see how you actually move before deciding anything.
She starts with a movement assessment rather than a protocol. Two people with the same diagnosis rarely need the same plan, and the difference is normally in how they load the area day to day, not in the diagnosis itself.
Sessions combine hands-on treatment with exercise you can keep doing between visits. Maya will tell you what she is looking for, what she has found, and what the plan is, so you can ask questions about any of it.
