Physiotherapy in Toronto
Assessment-led physiotherapy at Riverstone, built around how you move and live.

What Physiotherapy Involves
Physiotherapy is assessment-led. Before any treatment, we look at how you move, what hurts, what does not, and what you are trying to get back to.
From there it is a combination of hands-on treatment and prescribed movement, with the balance shifting toward active work as you improve.

Who It Helps
People come to us with:
- Back and neck pain, including after long periods at a desk
- Sports and training injuries
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Joint pain that has not settled on its own

What a First Physiotherapy Visit Involves
The first appointment is longer than the ones that follow, because most of it is assessment. We talk through the history, what aggravates and eases it, and what you need to get back to. Then we test movement, strength and the specific structures involved.
You get treatment on that first visit too, and you leave knowing what we found, what we think is driving it, and what the plan is. If we think you need imaging or another practitioner, we will say so.

How Treatment Progresses
Most plans start with more frequent visits while symptoms are settling, then space out as things improve. We reassess as we go rather than booking a long block up front.
Alongside hands-on care you will get movement and strength work to do between visits. That is the part that tends to determine whether the problem stays away.

Book Physiotherapy in Toronto
Your first physiotherapy visit is mostly questions and movement testing, and you will leave with two or three exercises rather than a long list. You do not need a referral to book, though some insurance plans ask for one before they reimburse.
