What Chiropractic Involves

Chiropractic care here focuses on how your joints move and how that affects the rest of the chain. Treatment may include adjustment, mobilisation and soft tissue work, chosen based on the assessment and on what you are comfortable with.

We will explain what we are doing and why before we do it.

Who It Helps

  • Stiffness through the mid back after long periods at a desk
  • Headaches that start at the base of the skull
  • Joint pain that is worse in one direction of movement

What a First Chiropractic Visit Involves

A history and a physical assessment before any treatment. We look at how your spine and the surrounding joints move, what reproduces your symptoms, and how the areas above and below are contributing.

We explain what we found and what we propose before we do it, including what an adjustment involves and what it will feel like. If you would rather not be adjusted, there are other effective options and we will use those instead.

How Treatment Progresses

Most plans start with more frequent visits while symptoms are settling, then space out as things improve. We reassess as we go rather than booking a long block up front.

Alongside hands-on care you will get movement and strength work to do between visits. That is the part that tends to determine whether the problem stays away.
